Fun Events in San Antonio Today for Adults
La Cantera Resort & Spa Holiday Tree Lighting

Christmas is coming to the La Cantera Resort & Spa! This weekend, they’ll be lighting their Christmas Tree with a festive ceremony.
Plus, get bites and festive beverages, and partake in holiday-themed activities. You even have the chance to meet and take photos with two of Santa’s reindeer!
Slim Man, an award-winning jazz vocalist, will be serenading the crows with beautiful tunes.
All of the proceeds will benefit San Pedro Playhouse.
How Much: $10 for adults; $5 for kids
Fire Pit Friday with Thai Bird
Chef David Gilbert will be cooking “Thai Birds” in a custom-made fire pit for you! Indulge in delicious Gai Yaan (a pit-roasted chicken), Thai Bird wings tossed in Tamarind-Galangal Sauce, and a fresh, vibrant Som Tam (green papaya salad).
While you can order on the spot, you can also preorder so you can get your tasty birds right away!
Garden Run Club
Start your weekend with a run through the beautiful San Antonio Botanical Garden. You’ll get to experience the area before it’s open to the public.
You’ll be able to follow the Run Club route on the Strava app. If you don’t have the app, you can follow the signage marking the route
Everyone of any fitness level is welcome. Just bring your water.

Calling all Potterheads! Catch a free screening of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone at Legacy Park.

Fourth Friday at The Rock at La Cantera

Kick off your weekend at The Rock at La Cantera. This night will have live music, a night market, and a Euro Classic Car Show.
You can bring blankets and lawn chairs for a cozy experience. When you get hungry, there are food and beverages available for purchase.
