Veterans Day Events in San Antonio from November 6-10, 2024
4th Annual Veterans Day Lunch
On the last day of the Veterans Day Sock Drive, the community is invited to celebrate and support veterans by donating a pair of socks to help combat veteran homelessness. Dean and Peeler Premium Beef will provide burgers for all attendees.

SA Veterans Day at Hemisfair

Head over to Hemisfair this weekend for a celebration honoring those who have served the United States Armed Forces.
Festivities will include live entertainment, food and drinks, and fun, interactive festivities for everyone of all ages.
Plus, Veteran-embracing organizations and businesses will be onsite to offer services and resources.

New Braunfels Veterans Day Parade and Ceremony
They invite you to join the New Braunfels community in a solemn yet celebratory gathering to honor our nation’s brave veterans.
Watch floats from local non-profit agencies and various local veteran organizations proudly parade down Downton New Braunfels, led by this year’s Grand Marshal: Retired United States Air Force Colonel Mickey Addison.

San Antonio Veterans Day Parade

The people line the streets of Downtown San Antonio to catch a glimpse of the brave men and women who have served the country.
With the Honorable Brigadier General Randy P. Oakland and the Honorable Representative Josey Garcia as parade grand marshalls, the San Antonio Veterans Day Parade will start at Milam Park and travel down historic Houston Street.

Holiday Market & Veterans Salute to Service
It’s a whole day of family fun at Blue Bonnet Place! Check out the vendor market, catch the game at the NFL watch party, meet and greet Santa, take holiday photo ops, listen to live music, and join the free kids’ activities!

The Helotes Fire Department invites you to its annual Veterans Day Concert. This event will feature a live patriotic concert performed by the Helotes Area Community Band.As you enjoy the music, you can have some snacks and refreshments available onsite.

Military Appreciation Day
The Alamo is proud to host the fourth annual Military Appreciation Family Day to celebrate, honor, and recognize active and former military and their families. Alamo Plaza and Gardens will be filled with special activities, guest presenters, live music, exhibits, and ceremonies.

Veteran’s Day Ceremony (La Vernia City Park)

You are cordially invited to a Veterans Day Ceremony to honor the brave men and women who have served our country. The ceremony will include a performance by the County Line Community Band and light refreshments provided by H-E-B. Please feel free to bring your favorite Veterans and your own chairs.

National Veterans Day Fun Run
Show your love and honor the veterans of this country by running for them!
This 5k run will be around Ranger Creek Brewing & Distilling, so you can sample some of their best beers as you loop around. When you finish, you’ll get a finisher mug you can fill with whatever your heart desires. For participants under 21, designated drivers, and non-beer drinkers, there will be Craft Root Beer.
